If you were to ask my grandsons who has a shield and is a protector, they might say it is the Avenger’s Captain America. He is a movie superhero who is a hybrid super soldier with a powerful shield he can throw in battles. When I hear the word shield and protector, I think of our Almighty GOD who the author of Psalms talks about in Psalm 3:3, “But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.” Notice, GOD does not just have a shield in front of us, HIS shield is around us…which is 360 degrees of protection. To me, it is comfort to know that whatever direction the evil one might try and attack us from, OUR heavenly FATHER stands ready to protect us. Stand strong today and Pray strong today, our GOD is on Spiritual guard duty and protect and comfort you.
