In 1998 there were a series of deadly tornadoes that hit Nashville and continued east for 28 miles, leaving destructions in its wake. I was fifteen miles east of Nashville watching live coverage of the damage in Nashville, when we were warned to take immediate shelter in the basement, and the storm hopped over our location and we were safe. Storms can be scary, huh? Taking shelter is the same thing we must do, when the storms of life arrive, often without warning. Make no doubt about, more storms will come, but we can take shelter under the arms of JESUS, if we know HIM. It is written, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”, Isaiah 43:1-2 ESV. If you are in the midst of a storm, seek shelter with JESUS today
