I know that today there are some of GOD’s people whose struggle, is or has been so hard, that they are barely hanging on to their Faith in GOD. If you ever saw the old movie “Cliffhanger”, it began with a mountain helicopter rescue crew, trying to rescue a climber and there is a scene where the helicopter crashed on a mountain cliff and the girl was hanging off the cliff and the guy hanging onto her lost his grip and she fell to her death. Sad scene. Some people might relate today because their struggles have been so great or lasted so long that they are just hanging on to their Faith in GOD.
There is some Good News for you today, Psalm 18:2 says ““The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Stronghold in this context means HE will hold Strong to us, even though we might think we are too weak to hang on to HIM. Praise HIS Holy NAME that HE will never let go of us.
